  • We are showing "Eddie the Eagle", the story of the notoriously tenacious British underdog ski jumper who charmed the world at the 1988 Winter Olympics. Tickets are just £2 including popcorn, choc ice, tea & coffee.

  • Dream Up is a free arts programme for families. Professionals from the Royal Academy of Arts will teach about art, artists and art-making, and all family members will join in to create and share their own artworks.

    The sessions will be during school holidays, on 3rd & 5th April, 30th & 31st May, and 15th, 16th & 17th August. Booking is required.

  • The next Carers Monthly Support Meeting will be on Wednesday 19th April between 12:30-2:30pm at The Abbey Centre. This month's meeting will include a speaker from the UK's leading home care service, Homes Instead.

  • 8 Week Strength & Weight Bearing Exercise to Improve Bone Health

    This programme is suitable for those aged 50+ and concerned with Osteoporosis. You’ll learn how to improve bone health through exercise and lifestyle.

    The class is for Westminster residents only and you will need to be an Open Age Member (free membership). To enquire about eligibility and to book please contact Open Age Monday to Friday 9am-5pm on 020 8962 4537

    Fridays 2:30-3:30 at The Abbey Centre. £1 per session

    A pre-participation health questionnaire and PARQ will need to be completed before starting. These can be posted to you if you are eligible.

Our Health and Wellbeing programme offers a range of services designed to tackel social isolation of vulnerable people, improve physical and mental wellbeing for children and adults from all ages backgrounds. We encourage healthy living and support health literacy



Routes to Work & Enterprise

Routes to Work & Enterprise


Supporting local residents into training and work is key to promoting health, wellbeing and quality of life. We work with local agencies to provide into work training and support to ensure that our communities benefit from local employment opportunities.




Volunteering & Time Banking



Volunteering is for all ages (17+), backgrounds and abilities to gain new skills, make new friends & help find ways back into paid employment. We also offer work experience placements for schoolchildren & internships for graduates.   



SW Hub & Network



Our centre is a bustling hub for south Westminster residents and local organisations. We celebrate & bring together the diverse cultures represented in south Westminster, from life-long residents to more recent arrivals from around the world.
