  • Learn how to make beautiful and unique beaded Jewellery pieces in our 10 week course. Classes are on Fridays from 10.30am-12.30pm starting 13th January 2017 and are free for those on income-related benefits. Contact or on 020 7227 0644 for more information.


  • 23 week ASCENTIS accredited course for bilingual people towards a recognised advanced certificate in Community Interpreting. Every Tuesday starting 24th January 2017 until 18th July from 10am-2pm at the Abbey Centre. The full course will cost £820 for all participants, and student loans are available.

  • Come to our New Years Resolution Café, where a team of friendly volunteers will be on hand to help you research ways to stick to your resolutions. Whether you want to live a healthier lifestyle, learn new skills, or make new friends, there are local services which can help you! Free lunch will be provided. Our Health and Wellbeing programme offers a range of services designed to tackel social isolation of vulnerable people, improve physical and mental wellbeing for children and adults from all ages backgrounds. We encourage healthy living and support health literacy

Routes to Work & Enterprise


Supporting local residents into training and work is key to promoting health, wellbeing and quality of life. We work with local agencies to provide into work training and support to ensure that our communities benefit from local employment opportunities.




Volunteering & Time Banking



Volunteering is for all ages (17+), backgrounds and abilities to gain new skills, make new friends & help find ways back into paid employment. We also offer work experience placements for schoolchildren & internships for graduates.   



SW Hub & Network



Our centre is a bustling hub for south Westminster residents and local organisations. We celebrate & bring together the diverse cultures represented in south Westminster, from life-long residents to more recent arrivals from around the world.
