It was really productive and I hope to get more members joining next time so it was a great place to start the ball rolling. | | | | It's the first time I've been there and it was a lovely space and perfect for our meeting. | Overall, we'd like to thank you for a fabulous service. We're extremely happy on how everything went, and we really appreciate all the help we got from you and your team. | Thank you for all the arrangements that you made for us. The room, catering and projector arrangements were perfect. | | I just wanted to send you a message to say a big thank you for allowing us to hold our first alumni meeting in The Abbey Centre.

Garrett Anderson Room

Garrett Anderson Room

Capacity: 24-35
The arched windows overlook Great Smith Street.

Hire this room and support activities such as music & movement classes for under 5s.

This is one of our most popular rooms, with beautiful arched windows overlooking the red-brick buildings of Great Smith Street. The first-floor Garrett Anderson room is generously proportioned and suits up to 35 delegates. There's an overhead projector and whiteboard, plus colourful limited-edition collagraphs by Mark Spain.

Named after Elizabeth Garrett Anderson, England's first female doctor. She championed healthcare for women and children, opening St Mary's dispensary in Marylebone, Westminster. She also taught medical courses to other women, so the practice could expand.
