Community Acupuncture

Service update

Please note, the community acupuncture service will be open until Monday 18th December, and will reopen in the new year from 8th January 2024. The service will also be closed on 22nd January 2024.

Pia from Help2HelpYourself delivers acupuncture services from the Abbey Centre.

She is now offering a community acupuncture service to Abbey Centre members for a minimum contribution of just £5 to cover the materials used. Please consider adding a donation, if you can afford it, in order to help us to continue this low cost clinic.

Appointments are first-come, first-served, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets for a session are available each Monday from the Abbey Centre Reception from 8:30am for the day’s 8 available sessions.

Sessions will be held on Mondays* at 9:45 – 11:45am (last admission 11:15am), with each session lasting around 30 to 40 minutes.

*There will be no clinic on bank holidays and when the practitioner is away, dates announced here ahead of time.

Pia may take up to four patients at other times during the week, for example for those whose situations does not allow to attend the Monday clinic. These sessions are by appointment only (call or text 0771 998 7933) and will take place in the Hill Room with a minimum fee of £10 requested. Please add a donation if you can afford it. Note that these sessions are for people on benefits, minimum wage or state pensions only.

All other private acupuncture sessions by appointment cost £70 (concessions are available).
