Our recent Cook & Eat course for kids and families

Thanks to funding from The Pimlico Million, our recently completed six-week Healthy Cook & Eat online course for parents and kids was a big success.

Participants learnt how to turn healthy ingredients into a variety of delicious meals with our free online course via Zoom. Each week they cooked a different meal and got helpful nutritional advice from the tutor.

Ingredients for making middle eastern lentil soup, healthy vegan quinoa tabbouleh salad, shakshuka and hummus (to name a few), were either delivered to their homes or collected by the participants before each session.

The feedback received was very encouraging.

One parent said: “I loved the carrot cake very much. Before I was thinking that healthy food is not delicious but now I am convinced that I can make tasty food from healthy ingredients.”
