Recycle School Uniform created by Abbey Centre member to provide great value uniforms
Ludimilla Faria is a client with our Women Off to Work project’s microbusiness support service. Through the project, she won a £250 grant which she used to start the Recycle School Uniform (RSU) community interest company (CIC).
RSU is dedicated to supporting parents who are on lower incomes and who struggle with providing school uniform for their children by providing them with high quality, low cost uniforms. The money raised is used to support partner schools and local Westminster Youth Clubs in providing fantastic extra-curricular activities for Westminster children. Recycling clothes is also a great way to help the environment.
Since winning the WOW Microbusiness grant pitch, she has created her own website, www.recycleschooluniform.com, and a Go Fund Me page to help raise further funds for the CIC: https://www.gofundme.com/f/recycle-school-uniforms.
Please consider using the service to get school uniforms for an excellent price, or making a donation to support this good cause.
