Since lockdown restrictions were lifted, we’ve been getting out and about whenever we can, taking our service users for interesting days out to places like Windsor Castle, Regents Park, Southend and Belgravia Police Station.
Many thanks to staff from the various locations who helped ensure these visits were both fun and informative. We particularly enjoyed trying on robes and crowns at the castle, and riot gear at the police station.
It’s been lovely to be able to get outside and take a break from the city again, as one visitor to Southend said it was “a huge relief getting the opportunity to get out of London after 16 months lockdown”.
We had a great time on the trips and got some fantastic feedback. One happy attendee added, “Thanks to everyone who organised the trip. Thanks for your generosity, kindness, care and support.”
Please note that one-off trips may only be open to attendees of specific activities.
