Our conference rooms are available to hire now

Our conference and meeting rooms are available to hire for essential work, education and training purposes, provided you are able to follow the necessary Covid-19 safety measures.

As a Covid-secure conference centre and venue, we are guided by the Meeting Industry Association’s Covid-19 guidance, and they recently provided more clarity on which types of meetings are allowed:

“In-person meetings for work, training or education purposes can still take place but only where it is not possible to carry out the activity from home, and if social distancing can be maintained and the venue can demonstrate it has followed Covid-19 guidance.”

We are following all the relevant guidance and safety measures to ensure the safety of our guests and staff, including enhanced cleaning of rooms and touchpoints, hand sanitiser available throughout our rooms and building, limited room capacities to ensure social distancing, and a Covid-secure catering menu.

Further easing of restrictions is planned in the coming months, which means we will be able to accommodate a wider variety of events. The key dates for these are currently:

  • On 17 May, at the earliest – Indoor events up to 50% of our venue’s capacity, and significant life events with up to 30 attending.
  • On 21 June, at the earliest – Larger events and no legal limit on life events.

All profits from hiring of our conference rooms will go to support our community work, providing vital support to local people during the pandemic.
